Since hormones are a major contributing factor to this disorder, health professionals agree that it is a good idea to treat the women's liver with herbs, particularly burdock. The reason being is because a women's liver helps eradicate estrogen from the body. Herbs have been medically proven to help reverse and lessen the symptoms and factors to this affliction for most women. Another option is surgery. Laparoscopic surgery has been used to diagnose and treat this problem in the same procedure so that getting pregnant with endometriosis is possible. Many women have also been told that a hysterectomy is a definitive solution for this disease, but in rare occasions the disorder has returned. • Caution. Don't take over-the-counter medications or herbal remedies without first consulting your obstetrician.
• Develop relaxation techniques. Practice relaxation whenever you can and try for at least once a day.
• Edema. Wear comfortable, non-tight fitting shoes and elevate your feet several times a day to prevent fatigue and edema of the feet, legs, and ankles.
• Fun. Pregnancy is a joyous event for a woman's life and if you see it positively, there's a more positive chance for a healthy and successful pregnancy.
• Get adequate sleep at least eight hours a day. If you're suffering from sleep disturbances, take naps during the day and see your physician for advice.
